Man on a Plane – (Documentry on James Brown & Insulate Britain)

This film by Fergal McEntee tells the story of Paralympian gold medallist James Brown, who was sentenced to six months imprisonment at Southwark Crown Court in September for his climate protest at London airport where he climbed on top of a plane and held it up for an hour.

This was during a mass protest organised by Extinction Rebellion as part of their October Rebellion in 2019 during which they targeted London airport because of its expansion plans (a quadrupling of size) and its particular role in serving rich privileged frequent fliers who contribute most to the enormous carbon legacy of the industry.
