GURKHA STILL ON HUNGER STIRKE AFTER 7 DAYS (TO GET EQUAL PENSIONS)

Some former Gurkha servicemen have been on a hunger strike for more than a week to show their determination to get equal pensions. Wearing signs with slogans saying “fast unto death” and “equal danger, equal reward,”, the group including 71-year-old Gurkha veteran Yam Gurung were staging their protest near the prime minister’s house at 10 Downing Street.
