Loch Ness debt monster is being impounded by the police at COP26

Police Scotland decided a giant inflatable Loch Ness Monster, which anti-poverty campaigners had hoped to float on the River Clyde, was a step too far – and took it into custody. At about 4m tall, 8m long and 3m wide, it will need a decent-sized cell.

The demo by the Jubilee Debt Campaign was due to coincide with finance ministers meeting at the SEC campus in Glasgow.
